He's about level 29, and his ability tree is here.

Bianca
Bianca - Biance is not equipped with the three rune slots taking the lyrium shard gives her.
Varric has mastered this tree, with all abilities and upgrades. Come on, it's Bianca, he has to master Bianca.

Sabotage
Varric has only two abilities here - Miasmic Flask (and upgrade Improved Formula) and Confusion. Since Varric is a long range fighter, he hasn't taken this tree any further.

Subterfuge
Varric has not developed these abilities at all.

Specialist
This tree has been fairly well developed, with all of the main bases covered.

Scoundrel
Another one that hasn't been developed beyond Blindside. The activated abilities in this tree are ones that particularly well with short range fighters, which Varric is not.

Marksman
Varric's specialisation. This tree has also been mastered fully, with Authorised Biographer activated by friendship with Hawke. Again, this being a Bianca-related ability tree, it makes sense for Varric to have mastered it fully.

His armour is fully upgraded, with:

Inscribed Leather Harness (Gives Varric an extra rune slot.)
Coat Lining with Concealed Pockets (+82 Attack)
Silverite-Reinforced Buckles (extra rune slot)
Drakeskin Leg Straps (extra rune slot)

Stats aren't worked out, but Cunning is >40, meaning Varric's lock picking and trap disarming are second-to-none.
